MST04 20040317

MST04 is one of a number of tracks I recorded for use as the soundtrack for a video game. MST stands for Menu Sound Track. The 04 is simply a unique ID for this track as I was working on multiple files for the game simultaneously.

The last string of digits is a date stamp: March 17, 2004. I append all of my working files with a date so that I immediately know the last date on which I worked on the file. This way, I am able to maintain a progression of track versions over time.

This track was programmed via MIDI using a Kurzweil K2VXs, Logic Audio soft-synths and probably the Roland Bass & Drums and Dance modules.

You can either stream or download this song.
